2-pole runs at about 3450 RPM under no load while the 4-pole gives you roughly 1725, so pick base on your machine's pulley ratio (we usually stock 4-pole for compressors but 2-pole is better for small fan applictions where noise is less of a concern).
One buyer used these in a small dairy pump setup and the IE1 efficieny class is fine for intermittent duty there, but if you're running 24/7 you'll want to check your power costs because the IE2 upgrade isn't available on this frame (71mm to 100mm) and our company can't change that.
Another thing—the cast iron frame is heavier than aluminun but it holds up better in that wet workshop you described, just verify IP44 is enough for your environment (it's not for direct washdown or outdoor exposure).
Lead time is about 25 working days or so on the 0.25kW size, but the 3kW usually ships faster form stock since that's our bread-and-butter spec.
Anyway, 10 units gets you a mixed batch with both mounting types IMB3 and IMB5 or whatever you've got—just confirm voltage tolerance on your side before we cut the start capacitors.
