The YC Series Single Phase Capacitor Start Asynchronous Motor is designed for applications requiring high starting torque such as air compressors, pumps, and similar industrial equipment. These motors feature excellent running performance with compact size, lightweight construction, low noise operation and easy maintenance.

With copper wire windings and durable cast iron/aluminum alloy housing (for models below 100), these motors deliver reliable performance in demanding environments. The motor protection class ranges from IP44 to IP54 with IC0141 cooling type, making them suitable for various industrial applications.

Technical Specifications

The motors operate at rated voltages of 115/230V or 220V with 50Hz/60Hz frequency options. Available in both 2-pole (2800rpm) and 4-pole (1400rpm) configurations to suit different speed requirements. The insulation class is B or F, with S1 continuous operation rating.

These motors offer high starting torque with locked torque ratios ranging from 2.0 to 3.0 times rated torque.
