Gold plating options from 1u" to 15u" on the brass contacts—most industrial buyers go with the 6u" for the balance of cost and cycle life, but the heavier plating helps if you're exposing it to humidity or constant reconnections. The steel housing is enough, but what it does is protect against EMI fairly well in factory floor setups.

You wouldn't want to use this in pure data-only applications where you're terminating Cat6a and pushing 10Gbase-T over 100 meters—the LED indicator adds bulk that can make crimping awkward, and the 1X6 configuration with 8 to 16 poles is better suited for industrial Ethernet or power-over-line combos anyway. Operating temperture spans -55°C to +125°C, so it's fine for outdoor enclosures near solar inverters or inside heated manufacturing cells.
CE and UL certifications are on file, and we provide a COA form SGS third-party testing on every production lot (usually takes 3-5 days after shipment). The insulator material is PBT+30%GF rated UL94V-0—it doesn't offgas much at high temps, and actually, the flame retardancy exceeds typical office-grade jacks by a wide margin.
