We designed this 90-degree keystone jack (HKJ-904-C5E) specifically for that, with a PC UL94V-0 housing that’s flame-rated and tough enough for repeated punch-downs, and gold-plated contacts from 3 to 50μ” depending on your order.
It handles both Cat5e and Cat6 UTP, supports 22-26AWG solid or stranded cable, and IDC type is parallel and inclined—so you can use a standard 110 punch tool without any adapter nonsense. DC resisance is under 300mΩ, contact resistance under 20mΩ, and it’s at least 750 insertion cycles (though we’ve seen them go past 1,000 in real installs).
One thing that’s not on the spec sheet: the termination caps actually stay put. They prevent dust ingress and stop wires from popping out when you’re dressing the bundle—pretty much every buyer we’ve dealt with appreciates that after the first re-termination. Operating temp is -25°C to 60°C, so it’s fine for most indoor environments, but don’t use it in direct outdoor exposure without a weatherproof cover.
our company can customize the color—white is standard, but we’ve done black, yellow, and even custom RAL codes for large runs. MOQ for custom colors is usually 500 pieces or so, and lead time runs 2-3 weeks (check current production schedule). For standdard white, we typically stock 5,000+ units.
Packaing is simple: bulk in polybags of 100, or individually bagged if you need that for resale. Each batch comes with a COA covering contact resistance and dielectric strength at 1000V AC (750V AC). We ship via ground or air, and for orders over 2,000 pieces we’ll absorb teh freight cost to the nearest hub.
