We’ve been shiping these for about three years now, and the thing buyers notice first is that you don’t need a punch-down tool—just push the cap down and it clicks. The polycarbonate housing holds up fine in most environments, though I wouldn’t use it outdoors without a weatherproof cover.
It’s an 8P8C modular outlet, so it works with standard RJ45 keystone plates and patch panels, and the toolless IDC handles 22 to 26AWG cable without any fuss. 2-stage termination is pretty straightforward: you align the pairs in color-coded cap, then snap it onto the block—no special tools required. We usually have stock in white, blue, red, yellow, black, and orange, but the 1000-piece carton takes about 20 days or so for production.
The contact configuration is standard for Ethernet data transmission, and the CE and RoHS certs are. One thing we don’t advertise but I’ll mention: the IDC contacts are nickel-plated, which gives better corrosion resisance than bare brass in humid rooms. It’s not suited for PoE+ applicaion above 30W, though—the plastic can soften over time with sustained high current.
Basically, if you’re doing a 48-port patch panel or a wall plate in an office, this saves you about 30 seconds per termination compared to a traditional punch-down jack. The 8P8C alignment is tight enough for Cat5e and most Cat6 runs, but I’d test it on Cat6A with 23AWG solid wire first—some batches have slightly looser tolerances.
OEM orders are fine, our company can do custom colors or logo printing on the cap, but the MOQ for that is 5000 pieces. Lead time for standdard white or black is usually 2-3 weeks, give or take, and we ship form two warehouses depending on volume. The single-pack comes in a polybag with a label, the bulk carton is 420×263×450mm and weighs about 12kg.
You can order just 1 piece per bag, or go with 1,000 pieces per carton — there's no minimum order requirement, so small quantities are fine.
