You're trying to lift a heavy assembly in a tight bay where a standard floor jack won't fit and a scissor jack just can't keep up with cycle time. 3 tons is pretty much the floor for automotive work, but some of these frames push 15 tons when you're dealing with industrial presses or truck chassis. The problem is you need controlled lift height and consistent power without babysitting a manual pump handle all afternoon.
What we've done is pair a pneumatic structure with a DC12V electric drive so you get the smooth, progressive lift of air pressure without needing a shop compressor. It draws up to 15A at 120W, which is enough to hit 150 PSI on the high end, and the air flow rate sits at 35L/min. That flow number matters because of that it dictates how fast the bag inflates—most units in this class choke around 25L/min, so you're getting roughly 40% more volume per minute.
The trip range spans 15 to 45 cm, which covers everything form low-profile sports cars to lifted trucks, and the max height clears 400 mm. 350 N/M on the torque wrench side is actually better than what most standalone torque wrenches spec at this price point, so you can torque lug nuts or flange bolts without switching tools. CE, RoHS, and ISO 9001 certs are standard—we usually have stock on the 3T and 5T variants, but the 10T and 15T run about 20 days or so lead time.
One thing nobody mentions is that the 120W motor will bog if you exceed 15A continuous draw for more than a couple of minutes—it's not designed for sustained max-load operation. So if you're planning to lift a 15T press table and hold it for an hour, you'll want a hydraulic unit instead. Anyway, for intermittent lifting cycles—say, 30 seconds up, 30 seconds down—it handles fine.
The 5T version is actually the most popular for general shop use, but we see a lot of buyers go with the 10T when they're working on heavy equiment or agricultural machinery. Also, the 35L/min flow rate means you can run a small air tool off the same line if you tee into it, though you'll drop pressure fast—just something we've noticed in the field. Packaing is typically a foam-lined crate for the larger capacities, smaller ones come in a double-walled carton with a COA included.
