That single-pass drilling length of 3000mm means fewer rod changes, which actually matters more than most buyers realize when you’re pushing 4200 meters depth.
2.5 km/h travel speed is slow—it’s a crawler, not a truck—but the 25-degree gradeability lets it climb out of most pits without a tow. It’s not suited for soft alluvial deposits; you’d want a DTH hammer setup for that, which this chassis can’t easily adapt to.
Anyway, packging is steel-framed crate with plastic sheeting and desiccant packs—standerd for ocean freight, no cold chain needed. Most buyers go with standard crate, but we can add a waterproof liner for an extra $150 or so if your route goes through monsoon season.
