The XW500 dual-purpose water and steam drilling rig is designed for high-efficiency drilling operations in various geological conditions. With a maximum drilling depth of 500-600 meters and recommended drilling diameter of 138-325mm, this rig delivers exceptional performance for water well drilling, mining exploration, and construction projects.
Powered by a robust Yuchai 118Kw six-cylinder engine, the XW500 features an impressive power head with maximum travel of 6.6m, rotation torque of 13000-15000N.m, and adjustable speed range of 30-150 RPM. The hydraulic crawler movement system provides excellent mobility with 2.5Km/h travel speed and 30° climbing ability.
Key advantages of the XW500 drilling rig include its ability to handle various geological formations, from soil layers to hard rock, gravel, and pebble layers. The rig's air system operates at 1.7-3.5MPa working pressure with 18-42m³/min air consumption, making it suitable for both water well drilling and steam applications.
The compact design (4150×1900×2480mm) and 10-ton weight make the XW500 suitable for various job sites while maintaining stability during operation. The rig supports multiple drill pipe options (76/89/102/114mm diameter, 1.5/2/3/6m length) for flexible configuration according to project requirements.
Applications include water well drilling, resource exploration for hydrology wells, coalbed methane, shallow shale gas, terrestrial heat projects, and coal-mine gas exploitation. The XW500 is particularly effective in areas where traditional rotary drilling rigs face challenges with hard rock formations.
