We've found the 300% pre-stretch is where this machine really earns its keep, film usage roughly in half compared to standard systems with no stretch at all. The SIEMENS PLC and touch screen let you dial in wrap patterns for loads up to 2400mm tall, and those five programmable memory modes mean you're not reprogramming every time the pallet size changes — it's pretty much set-and-forget once you've configured it.

At 35 loads per hour on a 1x1.2x1.8m pallet, it's handling typical throughput for a modest warehose or production line without becoming a bottleneck. The turntable speed is adjustable form 3 to 12 rpm, which gives you some leeway to dial down for fragile items like glass bottles or crank it up for uniform cartons. Turntable diameter is 1650mm standard, but you can get 1800 or 2000mm if your pallets are oversized.

It runs on single-phase 220-240V at 1.5kW, which is handy if you don't have three-phase availble — a lot of facilities we deal with need that flexibility. The 500mm film width is standard, but 750mm is offered as an option for wider loads, and you'll want to check your film roll diameter confirms to 250mm max. Power draw is low enough that it won't trip breakers on lighter circuits.

But it's not suited for heavy loads above 800kg — the turntable just isn't built for that kind of mass, and you'd risk wear on the drive system over time. The 900kg machine weight means it's stable once positioned, but shipping it in requires a pallet jack or forklift; we usually have stock, but confirm lead time on the 1800mm turntable variant. Also, the CE certifcation is there, but always cross-check with your local compliance requirement.

One detail you might not think to ask: the automatic film system works well, but we've seen it struggle slightly if the film is too thin or has static cling issues — stick with standard 20-25 micron film and you're fine. Wrapping height of 2400mm covers most common pallets, though you can get optional extensions if you're running extra tall loads for something like insulated beverage containers or stacked chemical drums.

Anyway, SIEMENS interface logs operational cycles, which is useful for maintenance scheduling or troubleshooting if a jam occurs. Typical lead time is 20 days or so for the base model, but the optional turntable sizes can push that to 30.
