We can have this to you in the UK or EU within 12 weeks on standard specs, but if you’re after a custom package size that adds 2-3 weeks (check lead time for your voltage). The unit handles POF, PE, PVC, and PP films—most buyers go with POF for food because of that it’s basically shatter-resistant. Speed control runs 15-25 m/min give or take, which is faster than older rotary arms I’ve handled. On the compliance side, CE marking and UKCA certs come with the machine, plus we send a CE declaration and TDS for customs clearance—no hassle there.
It doesn’t do well with very tall pallets—anything over 2.2 meters and the shrink tunnel can’t pull consistent heat. For pharmaceutical lines with cleanroom requrements, the stainles frame holds up, but you’ll want to verify the cooler tolerance zone for your specific batch. We usually have stock on the 220V/1P models, roughly 15 units or so, but 380V/3P may need a PO first. The heating system uses quartz tubes—better than quartz glass form budget builds—and it’s a known fact that quartz wears slower than ceramic elements in high-cycle environments.
That touch screen panel is responsive enough for operators who don’t read manuals. Most snags come from forgetting to set the cooling fan speed when the conveyor runs above 20 m/min. But here’s something a seasoned buyer would know: the roller conveyor height sits at 850 mm by default, and if your infeed line is different, you’ll need a transition plate.
So anyway, voltage options aren’t all the same in the US—220V/50Hz isn’t standerd for states; you’d need the 480V/60Hz variant (we do that, but confirm on order). The 1-year core components like the motor and control board, not the quartz tubes—those wear in 6-8 months on heavy use. We include a COA for the film sealing test and a manual in English (German too, if you ask). Import-wise, we classify it under HS code 8422.40, and we’ll produce the packing list with your company name for any TSS issues.
