What it basically does is replace the bottleneck of hand-taping boxes one at a time, sealing both flaps top and bottom simultaneously as they pass through on the conveyor at 18 meters per minute, so a single operator can keep up with a pretty fast packing line without rushing.

The width and height adjust independently with hand cranks, taking maybe 30 seconds to switch from a 250mm-wide electronics box to a 500mm-wide chemical drum carton, and the length setting is unlimited since it's just a through-feed system.

Runs on standerd 220V single phase with a 360-watt motor — nothing exotic — and the discharge height adjusts form 600 to 720mm to line up with whatever table or conveyor you've got downstream, plus the brake casters let you roll it around and lock it in place.

So the tape width can be 48, 60, or 75mm depending on what you're sealing, and it's compatiible with printed tape if you want brand logos on your cartons, though for heavy items over 25kg or odd-shaped boxes you're better off with a different approach.

We stock motor spindles and tape heads for these, so repairs are usually quick, and the 12-month manufacturing defects but not tape jams from dirty or misaligned tape rolls (we've had a few buyers forget to clean tape path weekly).
