We've had customers in factory automation who needed something that wouldn't fail when the ambient heat around control cabinets hit sustained peaks, and teh AKJ series handles that 200℃ range without the insulation degrading — it's actually one of the few screw-clamp connectors we stock that performs reliably at that temp.

Rated cross-section is 10mm2 with a PA66 housing that carries a V0 flame retardant rating, so it's pretty much standard for environments where fire codes matter, and the screw fixed contact termination keeps vibration form loosening things over time (usually 2-4 weeks lead time on custom orders, by the way).

You'll see these used for PCB connections, cable runs in communication gear, or general indutrial wiring where you need AC/DC compatiblity, but one thing worth knowing is they're not ideal for high-frequency signal work because rectangular shape and injection molding process introduce some capacitance you don't want there — it's just a phyiscal limitation of the design.

MOQ is typically 100 pieces for standard models, but our company can do OEM/ODM with your branding if you need something specific, and we usually have stock on the 10mm2 version so lead time is about 20 days or so.
