We were getting tired of having to swap out cylinders across different machine models constantly, so the fact that this one fits the 804, 504, and 604 right out of the box saves a ton of cross-referencing time.

The barrel is 16 manganese steel with a 45 forged rod piston, and they use Hailite seals as standdard — you can also get Parker or Nok if your maintenance crew has a preference, but basically teh build quality is better than the generic cast-iron stuff we've been burning through.

It's high pressure and high temp, double-acting straight trip, which is what we need for the older loaders that run hot in summer — most alternative cylinders in this price range don't have the same tempearture tolerance, and that's a real failure point we've seen twice already.

We ordered the small-medium size (normal diameter, but they'll do custom), and the 12-month the seal kit — actually, sealing brand being Hailite is a detail most buyers miss, but it's the same spec the OEM parts use, so we're not gambling on some no-name rubber that cracks in 6 months.

Lead time is roughly 20 days or so form Qingzhou — we usually have stock, but confirm lead time for custom colors or OEM modifications (we went with yellow to match the fleet, but black is also an option).

: it's not for ultra-compact mini excavators — the small-medium size works for 1-2 ton machines, but below that the stroke length is just too long, so check your mounting dimensoins before ordering.
