The steel rim and PU tire combo gives it a 750kg static load capacity, which is basically double what most standard rubber wheels can take. It's heavy. The bore dimensoins are 20.5mm diameter by 68mm long, give or take a half millimeter on the length depending on the batch, so it fits most standard jockey systems without needing adapters.
What makes it better than the usual rubber option is the puncture resisance—PU doesn't split or tear the way rubber does when you're rolling over gravel or concrete. It also won't crack form ozone exposure, which is a common failure point for cheaper wheels sitting in storage. Most buyers go with the white version for visibility, but black is more common for indutrial uses where looks don't matter. The 230mm diameter and 55mm width give you stable support under heavy gear (usually caravans or small trailers), though it's not suited for high-speed towing—this is strictly for static or slow movement.
Actually, one thing I wish more people asked about is the bore sleeve length—68mm is longer than typical jockey wheel axles, so you might need to trim it or add a spacer on some older systems. We've had a couple of returns from buyers who assumed it was universal, but honestly it's a minor adaptation. The 20.5mm bore is slightly tight, which helps prevent wobble but can be a pain to slide on if the axle has any rust or paint buildup.
For OEM runs our company can do custom colors (usually minimum 50 units or so), and the lead time jumps to about 20 days versus the standard 7-10 for white or black. Bulk pricing drops noticeably at the 100-unit mark—roughly 15% off single-unit cost—but you'll want to confirm stock because we usually have them on hand but occasionally run lean on the 230mm size during peak season. Anyway, the MOQ for white is one unit, black is also one unit, so it's flexible.
The 750kg rating is static load only; capacity is lower (maybe 300kg or so), so don't overload it when maneuvering. We include a basic poly bag packging, but if you need branded boxes or custom labeling that's a separate request with a 500-unit minimum for print setup. Certifications? our company have a generic COA for the PU compound, but individual batch testing is extra and takes about two weeks.
