We keep stock of more common sizes — 16mm² to 240mm² — in copper with PVC sheath, typical lead time is 3 weeks or so for anything else (check availability if you need aluminum conductor). Usually have around 500m per spec on hand for the 0.6/1kV rated stuff, but the higher voltage variants like 3.6/6kV get manufactured to order.

Power Cable Cross Section

It handles the -15°C to +90°C range fine, most buyers go with teh 1.8/3kV rating for underground runs since it's a sweet spot between cost and protection. Bending radius is 12 times the cable diameter — that's tighter than some other armored cables we've dealt with, which helps in trench work. The XLPE insulation is pretty much the standard here for thermal stability, but what it does is reduce dielectric losses over long distances compared to PVC insulation. You can get it halogen-free with the LSZH option too, which matters for indoor industiral setups where smoke toxicity is a concern. Basically, if you're running it through a building with fire code restrictions, opt for that variant.

Not suited for direct burial without mechanicla protection — even though it's armored, steel wire or tape both do the job, but steel wire handles pulling tension better during insallation. We've had contractors prefer tape for fixed routes where bending is minimal, saves a bit on cost.

Cable Reel Packaging

Cert-wise we've got CE and RoHS for EU compliance, plus ISO and CCC for other markets — COAs are included in the batch unless you ask for HPLC purity reports (which, honestly, aren't needed for power cable spec). 0.6/1kV is the baseline rating, but the 3-core version at 1.8/3kV is common for industrial machinery feeds. Color is black only, no custom colors.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum order quantity for the YJV cable, and can I mix different conductor sizes in one order?

Our MOQ for this YJV cable is 500 meters per size, but we can combine multiple sizes into a single order to hit the total. Just let us know the breakdown when you inquire.

How long does production take for a bulk order of 10,000 meters, and do you offer faster shipping?

Typical lead time is 2-3 weeks for a 10,000-meter order, depending on the specific size and core configuration. We can expedite shipping via air freight at an extra cost if you need it sooner.

Can you provide the CE and RoHS test reports or certificates for this cable before shipment?

Yes, we can send you copies of the CE and RoHS certificates, along with the ISO and CCC documents, right after order confirmation. Just request them from your sales rep.

If I need a 4-core configuration instead of 1, 3, or 5 cores, is that possible to customize?

We don't stock 4-core as standard, but we can produce it as a custom order. The minimum for custom cores is usually 2,000 meters, and it adds about a week to the lead time.

How should the cable be stored on site, and what's the shelf life if kept properly?

Store it in a dry, shaded area with the reel upright, away from direct sunlight and moisture. If kept between -15°C and +35°C, it stays good for at least 10 years without degradation.
