The 1000mm2 76/132kV XLPE copper power cable is designed for high voltage transmission networks, offering superior performance and durability. This cable features a stranded circular or segmental (Milliken) compacted copper conductor, ensuring excellent conductivity and mechanical strength.
The cable construction includes an extruded semi-conducting layer as a conductor screen, XLPE insulation for high dielectric strength, and an extruded semi-conducting layer as an insulation screen. Additional layers include semi-conductive swelling tape, copper wire screen, aluminum laminated tape, and an outer jacket made of PVC/PE compound. A graphite coating or extruded semi-conducting layer is applied for DC voltage sheath testing.
This power cable complies with international standards such as IEC 60228 and IEC 60840, making it suitable for use in systems with rated voltages from 132 kV up to 138 kV. It is widely used in construction, underground installations, industrial applications, and power stations.
