We typically keep YJY and YJLY series in stock for common sizes up to 35kV, but the 100-meter MOQ is per core configuration and voltage rating — if you need 5-core 20kV, we usually have it, though lead times can stretch to 20 days or so for less common builds.

Basically, these are for underground laying where you need the PE sheath instead of PVC — often in wetter ground or where chemical resisance matters more than PVC offered, and we see them used heavily in industrial plants and substation feeders.

The copper or aluminum conductor options give you flexibility depending on budget and current load, but go with alumnum for longer runs where voltage drop isn't a killer — it's easier to handle, and the 90°C continuous rating on the XLPE insulation holds up fine in most buried setups.

One thing a buyer might not think to ask: the PE sheath has better cold-weather performnce than PVC — rated down to -20°C — which actually matters if you're laying cable in a northern winter and don't want cracking during installation.

We've supplied these to a few utilities who spec steel tape armour for direct burial, and wooden drum packaing — free samples on request, by the way — saves hassle with re-coiling at the site (usually two weeks form order if stock is there).
