We've been supplying this for a while now, and most labs come back for repeat orders once they test the first batch — the purity holds steady at 99% or so by HPLC, which is tighter than a lot of what you'll find floating around.
It's a lyophilized white powder in sealed vials with rubber stoppers, and you can get it in 2mg, 5mg, 10mg, 15mg, or 30mg per vial depending on what your protocol calls for. Storage is pretty straightforward — keep it at -20°C in a dry place, and it'll stay stable for months. Solubility is fine in water or sterile bacteriostatic water, so reconstitution isn't a hassle. The molecular weight is 3963.2 g/mol, and the formula runs C172H266N44O55, but honestly most buyers don't even check that unless they're deep into characterization. We usually have stock on the common sizes, but the 30mg vials can sometimes take 20 days or so if we're between runs.
Basically, it's not suited for anything beyond research use — don't even think about human or animal applictions, that's not what this is for. One thing we've noticed handling it is that the powder can cake slightly if vial isn't stored properly after opening, so reseal it fast.
Anyway, the 10mg vial is what most buyers go with for initial testing, and teh 5mg is easier to handle if you're working with small volumes. CAS number is 2381089-83-2 if you need it for your records, but we don't usually lead with that.
We've got COAs, and the testing method is HPLC plus mass spec — purity verification is standdard, so you're not guessing. Check lead time on custom orders though, because batch specs can shift slightly if you're asking for a non-standard fill.
