You’ll want to check your ceiling depth before ordering though—it needs a minimum of 250mm clearance, otherwise the unit won’t sit flush.

Actually, the heating comes from four 275W infrared bulbs, so total power sits between 1100 and 2000W depending on how many lamps you run at once, and that’s enough for medium to larger bathrooms—I’ve seen it struggle a bit in open-plan spaces above 15 square meters, so keep that in mind. The infrared heat is instant, no warm-up time, which is what most buyers go with because it’s efficient for quick bursts. What it does is heat objects and people directly rather than the air, so you feel it right away even with the fan running.

IPX2 rating means it’s splash-proof but not for direct water spray, so it’s fine for ceiling installation in a bathroom zone 2 or 3—don’t use it over a shower or bathtub without additonal shielding. The 8W LED light puts out 1000 lumens at 4200K neutral white, which is a nice touch for general lighting, though it’s not dimmable if that’s something you were hoping for. Silver and gold are the only color options we carry; gold tends to sell slower but some buyers prefer the warmer look.

We include a wall switch with each unit, but you’ll need to wire it into your existing setup—no plug-and-play here, so an electrician is recommended unless you’re comfortable with that. The ducting is side-ducted with a 120mm flexible hose, 3 meters long, which gives you some flexibility in routing but ideally keeps the run short to maintain airflow. One detail that rarely comes up but matters: the ceiling plate dimensoins are 400x360x180mm, so measure your opening before drywall.
