We've had buyers running conveyor lines at food plants who needed something that wouldn't trip on voltage dips — teh 4-pole 1400rpm version at 415V handles that pretty well, and most of them go with IP55 for washdowns.
It's availble from 0.37kW up to 400kW (roughly 1HP to 460HP), with speed options like 740, 960, 1400, 1750, or 2800rpm depending on pole count — 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 poles — and you can get it in 50Hz or 60Hz across voltages from 220V to 660V, so there's usually a match for whatever your line voltage is.
We've seen these used in compressors, pumps, and fans — but they're not great for variable torque application unless you pair them with a VFD, which we don't supply, and direct-on-line start can cause a bit of inrush on larger frames (200kW and up), so check your breaker sizing.
Insulation class F is standdard, but if you're pushing ambient temps above 40°C, talk to us about class H — it's a few bucks more but saves headaches later.
Anyway, the housing can be cast iron, aluminun, steel, or stainlss steel, and mounting options are B3, B5, B14, B34, B35, or C face — we usually stock B3 and B5 in the 11kW-75kW range.
MOQ is 5 units for most frame sizes, lead time is typically 20 days or so, and we'll send COAs with every batch — just give us the pole count and voltage when you order.
