Basically the MMY comes in 6-pole as standerd (so 1000rpm sync at 50Hz) but we can rewind for 4-pole or 8-pole depending on your load, the high-speed winding option goes to 3600rpm at 60Hz if you're running pumps, and casting is aluminum or cast iron (usually 2-4 weeks for cast iron with the longer frame). 50Hz or 60Hz—just tell us the votage and we'll adjust the winding turns accordingly.
For fan or pump duty it's actually better than a standard off-the-shelf motor because the starting torque is 2.2x rated (so you don't stall on centrifugal loads), but it's not great for constant-torque conveyor applicaion with abrupt reversing—that's what a servo would handle. One custmer tried running a 7.5kW unit on a reciprocating compressor with direct-on-line starting and fried the rotor bars—variable frequency only here, that's a hard spec. Also the open casing lets debris in so don't put it near grinding operations (we can add guards though).
