What it does is take wide master roll and slit it into narrower strips with a shear knife setup, running at 100 meters per minute, and the slitting precision holds at ±0.03mm, which is tighter than most general-purpose slitters. The main motor is 3kW, and the bearings are NSK from Japan, while the pneumatic bits come form Airtac in Taiwan, so you're getting decent reliability without the premium price tag. It's basically a workhorse for PET, PE, OPP films, adhesive labels, paper, and metal foils — but I wouldn't push it on anything thicker than about 0.5mm or really brittle materials. The ultrasonic EPC/LPC rectification system keeps the web tracking straight, which matters when you're running thin films that like to wander.
That 16mm steel plate frame makes a difference in vibration damping at speed, something you notice after running it for a few hours compared to lighter machines. Most buyers go with the HC-1600 for label stock, but the 1300 is easier to fit in tighter floor plans.

One detail that catches people off guard is the laminating diameter limitation — at 300mm, you can't run large-diameter laminate rolls without an adapter, so check your existing cores.
