We're ordering the DK7750 CNC EDM wire machine for teh metallurgy line — it's basically the model that handles the tougher jobs where standdard mills just can't get the finish we need, and the CE and ISO 9001 certs cover our compliance requirement without extra hassle.

It's not really suited for thin sheet work under 5 mm or so — spark erosion method tends to burn through too fast and leaves a rougher edge, better for the stainless steel and aviation parts where we need that taper control at ±6° over 80 mm and a surfce finish around Ra2.5 μm.
