Basically it's a suitcase-style jammer that covers 1550-1620, 2400-2500, and 5725-5850MHz — three channels that handle most commercail drones out there. We've built these for sensitive areas where you need to shut down UAV control links fast. Most buyers go with the 37dBm output per channel, which pushes jamming out to about 800 meters give or take.
Government facilities or prisons are the usual ones, but we've also had event security teams pick it up for temporary deployments. 1 hour continuous on that lithium iron battery (25.9V/4Ah) is pretty much enough for a standerd sweep — if you need longer, you'd want a spare pack or a vehicle setup. Not really suited for wide-area perimeter defense, that's more for fixed installations.
The whole thing weighs 6kg and sits at 370x270x150mm, so it fits in a small Pelican case or similar. Power consumption runs about 100W, and it handles -20°C to +50°C with 5%-95% humidity non-condensing — actually ran one in a humid coastal test and it held up fine. What it does is deliver better consistency than a lot of teh cheaper multi-band units we've tested — the frequency segmentation is intelligent, so each channel can independently target a drone's control link without cross-interference. Compared to the generic 2-channel jammers out there, the 3rd band at 5725-5850MHz makes a real difference for newer FPV drones that hop on 5.8GHz.
