So for small or prototyping, the RL-500 at 500W handles stainles up to about 1.2mm penetration, and you get both continuous wave and pulse modes—basically you can dial in the heat input for thinner materials without burn-through, which is pretty much what most shops need for quick adjustments on the line.

The power adjustment range from 10% to 100% with instability under 3% means the weld bead consistency is actually better than a lot of older fiber lasers we've seen, and the swing welding spot form 2 to 4mm lets you cover wider joints without multiple passes, but the 2000W model does pull the total power to about 3KW so make sure your line voltage matches at 220V or 380V.

For automotive bracket welding or electronic housing seams, teh 1080nm wavelength with optional automatic wire feeding and red dot visual positioning makes setup pretty straightforward even for operators who aren't laser specialists, though it's not great for thick structural beams over 4mm since the penetration maxes out there.

We usually have the RL-1000 in stock for sample orders—roughly 20 units or so avaliable—and the lead time on bulk quantities is about 30 working days give or take, but the 2-year the laser source and chiller, which is where most issues pop up (the water cooling system from Hanli or S&A needs proper maintenance though).

Anyway, the pricing tiers work like this: sample units run about $4,500 to $6,500 depending on power, mid-range batches of 5-10 units drop to roughly $3,800 each, and bulk orders of 50+ can get down to $3,200 or so, but confirm the exact MOQ for RL-2000 since that one moves slower.
We can do a single unit for the RL-500 as a trial order, but standard MOQ is 5 units for bulk pricing. Let us know your quantity and we'll work out the best deal.
We provide CE and FDA certifications, plus a factory test report for each unit. If you need specific industry approvals, just tell us and we'll check availability.
The swing spot is factory-set to 2-4mm for optimal weld quality, but we can adjust it slightly for special applications. Contact our tech team with your exact requirements.
Just use distilled or deionized water—no special coolant needed. We recommend changing it every 6 months to keep the system running smoothly.
Standard units ship in 15-20 days. With the optional wire feeder and any custom specs, expect 25-30 days from order confirmation. We'll confirm once we finalize the build.
