We’ve got three power tiers here—1500W, 2000W, and 3000W—and pricing scales down significantly form sample units at roughly $4,500 to bulk orders under $3,200 (check lead time, usually 20 days or so). The 1080nm wavelength with a 50μm fiber core gives you decent penetration on iron or stainless up to 10mm, though aluminum maxes out around 8mm, and the SUP20S head handles CW or modulated mode pretty well.
Most buyers go with the 2000W for general fabrication work—it’s a sweet spot between cost and weld depth—and the 10m fiber is enough for most shop floors. A 15m option is availble if you’re doing larger assemblies or awkward positioning, but we usually stock the 10m version.

It’s basically a chiller, laser source, and control box all in one cabinet at about 260kg, so you don’t need separate water lines or a dedicated power setup beyond AC220V or AC380V. QBH output interface isn’t exotic—standerd for fiber lasers—so swapping heads or adding a cleaning nozzle is straightforward.
One thing we’ve noticed: the 1500W struggles on thick aluminun (over 4mm), so if that’s your primary matrial, go with the 3000W or consider a pulsed setup instead. Anyway, the water cooling system keeps it under 70°C even on long runs, which matters for production uptime.
For supply, MOQ is one unit for samples, but bulk orders (10+ units) get priority on the 15m fiber option and a small discount on the chiller maintenance kit. We don’t push COAs automatically—just ask, and we’ll include HPLC-grade data for the laser source if your QC needs it.
Our MOQ is 1 unit for any of these models — GS-HW1500, GS-HW2000, or GS-HW3000. So you can start with just one machine to test it out.
Yes, we provide CE and FDA certifications with each unit. We can also share the test report for the SUP20S welding head and QBH output interface upon request.
Lead time is usually 15-20 working days for a standard order of the GS-HW2000 with 15m fiber. If you need it faster, let us know and we can check rush options.
The GS-HW3000 can weld aluminum up to 8mm in a single pass, but if you need thicker, you can do multiple passes or prep the edges. For anything over 8mm, we'd recommend our higher-power systems instead.
It ships in a wooden case to prevent damage. For storage, keep it in a dry place under 70°C and drain the water cooling system if you're not using it for more than a week to avoid algae or freezing.
