It's basically a wire EDM for conductive metals using a molybdenum wire electrode, and what it does is spark-erode the materail with decent precision for mid-size parts like dies or small mold inserts.

The worktable travel is 250 by 320 mm with a 500 kg load capacity, so it can handle a fair amount of weight, though the speed is nothing crazy at 120 mm²/min max, and the accuracy holds to within 0.02 mm usually.

Surfce roughness can get down to Ra2.5 μm if you dial it in, which is better than some older machines for finish work, but it's not going to give you mirror-like results without a secondary polish pass.

Max taper is ±6 degrees over 80 mm of Z travel, and the Z-axis itself gives you 500 mm of clearance which is enough for most tooling jobs, but machine stands about 1.5 meters tall and weighs a metric ton, so get a forklift ready for delivrey.
