What we do is match the connector type and polish to your exact hardware, so you’re not fighting mismatched interfaces or unnecessary loss. We’ve got SC, LC, FC, ST, MU, MTRJ, and E2000 ends, and we’ll set you up with PC, UPC, or APC polish depending on whether you need standard return loss or the tighter high-return stuff—basically, if you’re doing analog video or DWDM, you’ll want that APC polish for sure.
Insertion loss hits ≤0.3dB on single mode and ≤0.2dB on multimode, which is tighter than most generic cords, and return loss runs ≥50dB for UPC or ≥60dB for APC. It’s 500 mating cycles or so, and the operating range is -40°C to +75°C, so it’ll handle a cold warehouse or a hot server rack without the jacket cracking. Cable diameter runs from 0.9mm up to 4.1mm, and we stock simplex and duplex configurations in standard lengths form half a meter to 100 meters—though our company can cut custom lengths if your run is weird.
The jacket material is your call: PVC is fine for most indoor runs, but if you’re in a plenum space or need low smoke and zero halogen, go with the LSZH or OFNR. We usually have common connector combos in stock, but if you need something like E2000 on one end and LC on teh other, expect about 20 days lead time (check with us first). One thing buyers don’t always think about—the polish type matters more than the connector for long-haul links, so don’t just grab UPC because of that it’s cheaper; APC will save you a lot of rework.
Yes, LSZH is available across all standard lengths from 0.5m to 100m and any connector type you need—SC, LC, FC, ST, etc. Just specify it in your order.
We don't have a strict MOQ for custom lengths on patch cords. You can order as few as 10 pieces for a non-standard size like 3.7m, but lead time may increase slightly.
