Our premium quality twin and earth cable features solid or stranded bare copper conductors (class 1/class 2) with PVC insulation and sheath. Designed for fixed installations in dry or damp conditions, this cable offers reliable performance with a temperature range of -30°C to +70°C.
The cable construction includes: 1) Conductor: 6192Y/6242Y bare copper wire (solid class 1 or stranded class 2), 2) Insulation: PVC compound, 3) Sheath: PVC compound available in grey, black or white. The nominal voltage rating is 300/500V with a minimum inner bending radius of 6D (D=Outer diameter).
This flame retardant cable meets IEC60332-1 standards and is suitable for various installation methods including surface clipping, tray mounting, trunking, conduit installation, and embedding in plaster or walls. The cable maintains excellent performance even at short circuit conditions up to 160°C for maximum 5 seconds.
