Our 2x1.5mm² flat twin and earth cable is specifically designed for the South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria markets. This electrical cable features high-quality construction with bare copper conductors and PVC insulation, making it ideal for various wiring applications.
The cable consists of fine-wired stranded copper conductors (class 5 according to BS 6004 or 6242Y) with color-coded PVC insulation. Available in standard colors including red, black, yellow, green, blue, and yellow/green for easy identification during installation.
This flame retardant cable meets IEC60332-1 standards and is suitable for fixed installations in temperature ranges from -30°C to +90°C. It can withstand short circuit conditions up to 160°C for maximum 5 seconds.
The flat twin and earth design makes it particularly suitable for power and lighting circuits in building wiring applications. It can be used unenclosed, enclosed in conduit, buried directly or in underground ducts for domestic, commercial and industrial installations where not subject to mechanical damage.
With a nominal voltage rating of 300/500V for H05V-K and 450/750V for H07V-K versions, this cable offers reliable performance. The minimum inner bending radius is 4 times the outer diameter (4D) for easy installation.
