Basically, you're looking at a 4-core flexible cable rated 300/500V that handles medium mechanicla stress pretty well, and it's built to BS6500 with PVC insulation and sheath in black, white, or grey.
Most buyers go with bare copper fine wire for better conductivity, but CCA wire is an option if you're chasing lower cost—just keep in mind it's not as for long-term flexing, and we usually have both in stock, roughly 0.75mm² to 35mm² depending on your order.
Temperture range sits at -30°C to +70°C for fixed installs, with short circuit tolerance up to 160°C for about 5 seconds—flame retardant to IEC60332-1, so it's suitable to general wiring where you don't need heavy armor.
It's not great for direct burial or wet environments though (check sheath rating), and the 4-core configuration means it's common for three-phase circuits or lighting runs where you need a neutral.
One detail only someone who's handled it would know: teh 0.75mm² size is noticeably easier to terminate in tight junction boxes than larger gauges, but the 2.5mm² is what most contractors order for socket circuits anyway.
