We've been making these for promotional campaigns for over a decade now, so we've seen what works and what doesn't—the short plush fabric is usually what most buyers go with since it holds embroidery really well.
The fill is PP cotton, which keeps its shape after a lot of squeezing, and our company can do the 10cm or 20cm sizes pretty quickly, but if you need 30cm or something custom, add maybe 10-15 days to the lead time. Actually, the 30cm versions sell faster for gift sets, though they're not ideal for small giveaways like keychain packs. 7 days is the fastest we've ever done a sample, but that's with a pre-existing mold. You'll want to check the COA especially for REACH and ASTM specs if you're shiping to Europe or the US.
Those customs options are basically embroidery or printing, but printing fades faster on teh high-pile rabbit plush, so we recommend embroidery for anything with logos. 100pcs is our standerd MOQ, but we've flexed lower for repeat clients.
It's good for kids' events or trade shows, but don't plan on using it for heavy daily use—the zippers we use are fine for light carry, not textbooks or laptops, which some first-time buyers assume.
We've got about 15-20 years on the sewing floor between our craftsmen, so loose threads are rare, but we still check every single bag individually before packing.
