So, we had a buyer last month who runs a children's hospital gift shop, and she needed a run of 500 of these for a holiday promotion, mostly in the 30cm size with their logo embroidered on the fin, and what she kept coming back to was whether the fabric would hold up after a dozen washes — it does, basically, because the polyester cotton stuffing doesn't clump and the outer plush is double-stitched at the seams.
The standard options we keep in stock are brown, white, and pink, but you can pretty much pick any Pantone for custom order, and the sizes range form 20cm up to 80cm — the 50cm one is actually the most popular for kids because it's big enough to hug but not so huge it's awkward — and we've got EN71, ASTM, and CE certifications across the board, plus AZO-free dye testing, which matters more for teh 0+ age group than most buyers realize.
A lot of parents use these as a first soft toy for sensory play, but honestly, if you're planning to use it as a bath toy or teether, it's not suited for that at all — the PP cotton filling absorbs water and takes forever to dry out, so keep it for cuddling and bedtime, not the tub, and the machine washable label only works if you air dry it on low heat.
Anyway, the MOQ is 200 pieces for standerd sizes, but if you go with a custom color or a complex embroidery design, that number might bump up a bit, and lead time is usually 4-6 weeks after sample approval — samples themselves take about 5-7 working days to produce.
