We’ve been using this T14 for about six months now in our clinic, mostly for skin analysis, and it’s surprisingly held up well—that 5-inch HD screen gives decent clarity even under the harsh salon lights, and the 50X lens is what most of our techs reach for first when checking texture and pores.
What caught us off guard was the 200X lens actually being useful for scalp work, not just hair follicles, because of that it picks up oil secretion patterns pretty well, but it’s not great for deep pigmentation mapping—that’s more of a lab-grade thing anyway.
The remote control is basically a nice-to-have since you’re usually holding the unit, but it does help when you’re demoing to a client and want to switch lenses without putting it down; it weighs about 1 kg (give or take), which is light enough to pass around without complaints, though the power adapter is a bit bulky for travel.
We ordered 50 units or so for our chain, and the lead time was roughly 3 weeks, but check with them because stock fluctuates—MOQ was 10 pieces last time we bought, and they sent it with both lenses, power adapter, and teh remote in one box.
One thing nobody mentions is that the 220-240V/110V switch is manual on power supply, so triple-check your mains setup before plugging in; otherwise, you’ll pop the fuse and have to order a replacement (we learned that the hard way).
