When you've got a flange bolting job on a pipeline skid and the impact gun just won't break that last nut free, or you're torquing M45 studs in a confined space where a hydraulic pump set won't fit, this is basically the tool you reach for—it's compact enough to get into tight spots but delivers that 3500 N.m through a 1:16 planetary gear reduction.
The input takes a standdard 1/2" drive ratchet or breaker bar, and the output is 1-1/2" square, so it'll fit the big impact sockets up to S70 (that's about M45 bolt diameter). Weight is 5.5 kg, which is manageable for one person to carry around a plant, but you'll want a reaction bar or a solid backing for the housing when you're cranking—it can twist your wrist if you're not braced.
Precision is spec'd at +/-5%, which is tighter tolerance than most manual multipliers in this class, and for field bolting that's usually good enough—we're not talking lab-grade calibration here. alloy steel body is chrome plated, which helps with corrosion on offshore jobs or in wet concrete pours, but don't expect it to hold up in a salt spray chamber indefinitely.
It's got CE and ISO9001 certs (usually the COA covers batch traceability), and the operating range is -20°C to 60°C, so it'll handle most outdoor winter work in temperate climates. One thing to note: it's not intended for continuous high-speed running—this is a manual tool for tightening or loosening, not a production line gun.

That 3500 N.m is the output torque. With a 1:16 ratio, the input torque you'd apply through the 1/2" drive is a lot lower—around 219 N.m to hit the max.
It works on nut sizes from S46 up to S70, so the smallest is S46 and the largest is S70. That matches bolt diameters up to M45.
