We've been seeing a lot of demand from labs retrofitting older steam lines where the orginal galvanized stuff is just not holding up anymore — the tempearture range on these, 280° to 400°, handles that better than most brass fittings we've moved.
The real challenge is getting a seal that lasts through thermal cycling without loosening, and basically what these do is they use a tighter tolerance on the NPT threads than what you'd get from a standard hardware store part, so it's actually worth the extra few cents per unit for a 5-year warranty that covers it.

Nickel plated or chrome plated, most buyers go with the nickel for steam appliction — it's less slippery when you're wrenching it down, plus the corrosion resistance is pretty much the same anyway.
Sizes come in 1/2", 3/4", and 1" for now, and we usually have stock on all three but confirm lead time if you need over 500 units or so — the MOQ on special thread types like BSP or UNF is higher (usually 1,000 pieces).

One thing we don't recommend these for is potable water lines if you're using the HPb57-3 alloy — you'd want teh DZR lead-free option for that, and we can do that on the same thread specs without changing the price much.
The packaging is standard export grade, which means each fitting is individually bagged and boxed, but if you need them bulk-packed for automated assembly lines just let us know when you order.
They're ASME/ANSI compliant per B1.20.1, B31.1, and B31.3 standards. We can provide a certificate of compliance with each shipment.
MOQ is typically 100 pieces per size, but we can work with smaller quantities for sample orders or initial trials.
Yes, we offer DZR (lead-free) brass in all sizes—1/2", 3/4", and 1". Just specify that when ordering.
Lead time is usually 15-20 working days for standard sizes and finishes. Custom orders may take a bit longer depending on quantity.
We use standard export packaging—inner poly bags with bubble wrap, then sturdy cartons or pallets to prevent thread damage during transit.
