So you’re building out a gas system or maybe a sewage treatment line, and you’ve got that one joint where a standard pipe just won’t seat right—too much vibration, or teh flange needs to hold under pressure—and you’re tired of fittings that loosen up after a few weeks. We see that a lot from buyers in public works projects, and what we do is machine these hex 10*16mm flanged fittings to lock in place without that creep. It’s basically a male connection, so you thread it straight into the female port and the flange gives you that extra bite.

Matrial-wise, you can pick brass, copper, or stainless steel depending on your enviroment—most buyers go with brass for cost and corrosion resistance, but if you’re dealing with aggressive chemicals in wastewater side, stainless is tighter. The specs run 1/4*1/2 or 1/2*3/4, and we hold those to within 0.1mm tolerance, which is better than a lot of standard fittings you’ll find. Purity on the brass is about 99.5% copper content, give or take, and the golden color comes from a passivation step that also helps with oxidation—handy if the fitting sits outdoors.

You’ll see these used in power stations where they need to handle steam cycling, and also in gas systems where a leak is just not an option—but here’s the thing, they’re not great for high-pressure hydraulic lines above 300 psi because the flange itself adds a stress point that can fatigue over time. Usually we ship in standard cartons stacked on a pallet, and the 6-month manufacturing defects, not wear from overtightening. One detail buyers often miss is the hex size: 10*16mm means the wrench flat is 10mm, so you’ll need a 10mm socket or open-end—don’t grab a 3/8-inch and round it off.

And if you need a sample, we’ll send one out—usually takes 2-4 weeks depending on your location. We also do custom lengths or thread pitches if your project calls for something off-spec, but the MOQ on those is about 500 units or so.
We don’t list a fixed MOQ here, but for standard brass and copper ones, we usually start at 500 pieces. Stainless steel might need a bit more. Just let us know your quantity and we’ll work it out.
Yes, we’ve got ISO9001:2015, ROHS, and SGS certifications. We can share copies with the shipment or beforehand if you need them for your records.
For custom colors or sizes, it’s typically 15-20 working days after sample approval. We’ll need to confirm the specs first, but we can send a sample for you to check before full production.
Absolutely. Every single piece goes through 100% inspection before it leaves our facility. That includes checking the hex size, thread fit, and finish to make sure they’re good for gas or water systems.
They come in standard cartons on pallets, with proper padding to avoid scratches. For storage, keep them in a dry place; the brass and copper ones handle humidity fine, but stainless steel is even more corrosion-resistant.
