Comes in at a 90-degree angle so you can route hoses around tight corners without kinking them, which is pretty much the whole point of using these instead of a straight adapter. Medium carbon steel body with a galvanized finish—holds up fine in most industrial environments where you've got moisture or mild corrosive exposure.

Thread options are BSP, NPT, or metric depending on what your system uses, and the seal type varies between O-ring, flat face, or cone seat. Working pressure goes up to 6000 PSI, but that's under ideal conditions at room temperature. Temperature range is -40°C to +120°C. We usually have stock in common sizes, but if you need something custom our company can do OEM runs (check lead time on those—usually 2-4 weeks). The male connection is straightforward to install, though you'll want a torque wrench for the cone seals to avoid over-tightening.

Don't use these for food-grade or pharmaceutical lines unless you've verified the O-ring materail compatibilty—the standerd ones are fine for mineral oils and water-glycol, but we don't test for everything. 6000 PSI is the burst rating, not continuous working pressrue, so plan accordingly.

What it does is let you make a reusable fitting that can be disassembled and swapped onto a new hose if the old one fails, which saves you from replacing the entire assembly. The galvanized suface treatment is decent—about 8-12 microns thick in most cases—so it'll handle salt spray for 72 hours or so before showing red rust. Better than plain steel for this, obviously, but not marine-grade.

We ship these in boxes of 10 or 50 depending on the size, with the smaller threads usually packed in poly bags inside the box to prevent thread damage. COA comes with each batch showing hardness, coating thickness, and thread gauge results. The 90-degree bend has a slightly tighter radius than some competitors, so measure your hose bend allowance before committing to a layout.
