At 99% or better by HPLC, we're seeing a product that consistently outperforms what most supliers call 'research grade' — usually a difference of 2-3 percentage points in real-world lots, or so we've found after handling a few thousand grams.
What that purity means in practice is tight control over the peptide characterisation, with proper C27H44N4O5 molecular weight and no truncated sequences that could throw off a whole dosing study (typically those extras appear below 0.5% in our COAs).
CAS 1401708-83-5, the angiotensin IV analog, and we store it at 2-8°C in airtight foil bags — 1 gram to 10kg are standard, with 25kg drums for larger academic orders, but the MOQ is literally a single gram if you're just scoping.
Solubility in water is decent enough for standerd reconstitution, but for some organic solvents you'll want to check the specific batch data — we include a TDS with each shipment, not just COA.
It's not suited for anything oral or in vivo beyond preliminary bench work — the suplier notes are very clear on research only, and teh 9%+ batch consistency we keep is better than reagent grade for this kind of work.
We sell by the gram in foil bags with a 1g MOQ, which is pretty much the minimum for small-scale synthesis or validation studies, but actually, most buyers go with the 5g option for the price break.
