So you're setting up a new OR suite or maybe upgrading an older one, and you've been through a few different scopes already, we get that a lot around here, and basically what you're after is something that gives you that clean, crisp image without the price tag of the OEMs, and honestly, this B400WH series does exactly that—it's built around a rod lens system that punches well above its weight for the money.
The 4mm diameter and 175mm working length are pretty standdard for most laparoscopic work, but the real trick is in the 70° field of view, which gives you a nice wide angle without that fisheye distortion you sometimes see in cheaper imports, and we've validated the autoclave cycles at 500 at 134°C, so it'll hold up for years in a busy facility.
Most buyers go with the 30° direction of view for general surgery, but we also stock the 0° and 70° versions depending on what you're doing, and the compatibility with Storz, Olympus, and Wolf light sources means you don't have to swap out your whole tower just to try one, which is actually a bigger deal than most people realize on day one.
Teh German stainlss steel body is nice and rigid, but what really matters is the Japanese fiber in the optics—it's tighter tolerance than a lot of generic Chinese glass we've tested, and we've seen it hold up better after about 200 cycles or so, though your mileage may vary depending on how aggressive your sterilization techs are.
Anyway, when you place an order we'll send you the ISO13485 docs and a COA with the serial number, and the MOQ is negotiable (usually 5-10 units for a first run), but we do have a lead time of about 20 days or so once the OEM specs are locked in, and our company can do custom engraving on the eyepiece if that's something your OR needs.
Right now, we offer 0°, 30°, and 70° as standard options. If you need a different angle, we can discuss customizing it under your OEM order, but it may require a minimum quantity and longer lead time.
For an OEM order with custom branding, lead time is usually 25–35 business days after sample approval. It can vary depending on order size and customization complexity, so just let us know your timeline.
Yes, we provide ISO13485 certification and all related quality docs. We can also supply additional compliance paperwork if your regulatory body needs it — just tell us what's required.
The MOQ is negotiable and depends on the level of customization. For simple branding changes, we can start with a lower quantity, usually around 50–100 units. For more complex modifications, we'll work out a minimum based on tooling and setup costs.
It's designed to be compatible with Storz, Olympus, and Wolf systems right out of the box, so no extra adapters are needed. The 4mm diameter and standard light post fit most surgical setups.
