It’s carbon steel with a diamond coating and a nickel-plated exterior finish, so the coating won’t peel off easily during grinding, and the plastic handle helps reduce hand fatigue on longer deburring runs.
We usually keep around 500 pieces in stock for the 12-inch size, but for custom orders the lead time is about 15 working days give or take; we’ll send you the COA with HPLC data on the nickel plating thickness if your quailty team asks for it.
Payment is typically 30% upfront via T/T with the balance before shipment, and we ship via DDP if you want door-to-door — just confirm whether you need 6-inch or 8-inch sizes in teh same grit, because those ship faster since we’ve got more inventory on the smaller ones.
Some buyers use this for hardened alloy trimming, but it’s not ideal for continuous heavy stock removal since diamond coating is about 0.3mm thick — better for finishing passes and detail polishing.
