You're probably dealing with peptides that don't dissolve evenly or show weird peaks on HPLC, and we see that a lot with low-purity sources — most labs won't waste time chasing bad data from shaky materail, so what we do is run each batch through MS and HPLC before we even think about packaging it, because if you're spending time on dose-response work you need results to be clean form the start.
Anyway, ours comes as a at 99.7% or better by HPLC, and we verify that with internal testing plus a third-party check, though we usually hold back 10mg per 50mg vial for a retest sample (30 days or so, give or take) if you want to confirm yourself.
