We got your RFQ for the glass running pliers, and for the specific challenge you mentioned—cleanly breaking scored glass along a tight radius without chipping the edge—the MDQ06 handles it well with teh serrated jaws gripping the score line rather than slipping off.
The nodular cast iron body and box joint give you a much higher shear force than standard stamped steel pliers, so you're not fighting flex in the joint when you apply pressure, and the crooked shaft style means your hand stays clear of the glass shards.
It's basically an 8-inch tool with soft rubber-coated handles in red or blue, and the serrated jaws also work for crimping and wire stripping if you're doing framing or electricla work on the same job site—though it's not ideal for thin mirror glass under 3mm, where the serrations can leave micro-fractures.
Most buyers we deal with in building decoration go with the red handle version, but we've shipped plenty of blue to glaziers who prefer visibility on a messy bench, and the OEM/ODM is availble if you need a custom color or branding on the handle.
standard carton packaging is fine for stock, but if you're shippng to a job site directly, we usually have the option to bulk-pack in a poly bag to cut down on waste—just confirm that at order time, because the MOQ shifts slightly for non-carton.
Lead time is typically 15-20 working days for a standdard order of 500 units or so, and we'll send the COA with the shipment showing the nodular cast iron composition and the jaw hardness specs.
