The standing feature is really the main caveat here — these aren't designed to stand unsupported for display, even with the movable metal skeleton, so if you need a doll that stays upright on its own without nail support, this model won't do that for you, and that's just teh reality of the weight distribution at 11kg to 65kg depending on height.
But what it does well is hold poses once you position it, because the metal armature is actually pretty for its range of motion, and most buyers go with the 170cm silicone variant for the durability since TPE tends to get surface microcracking after 18 months or so in storage if you don't keep it away from direct UV exposure.
The gel breast standard is a nice touch — it's not just solid silicone fill, it's a separate gel insert that gives a more natural feel when compressed, and the heating function (availble on 110cm+ models) warms up to roughly body tempearture in about 20 minutes, which matters if you're doing any kind of tactile testing with the 3-point or 5-point intelligent dialogue system.
Customization is where we actually see the most orders — OEM/ODM means you can specify the exact Shore hardness for silicone, usually 00-30 to 00-50 depending on what you're simulating, and we'll run the COA for each batch with HPLC if you need it, but the standard EN71 and ASTM certs already cover the heavy metals and phthalates at under 10 ppm.
Lead time is 15 to 30 days typically, but we usually have stock on the 100cm TPE models in neutral skin tones — just confirm before you place the MOQ, because that's not fixed and varies by the mold complexity and whether you want the articulated fingers or not (check with us on that one).
The medical-grade TPE is non-toxic and odorless out of the box, though silicone definetly has a longer shelf life before oxidation starts to stiffen the materail, so if you're storing these for research protocols over multiple years, silicone is the better bet even with the higher weight at the 170cm size.
