We got your RFQ in this morning, and actually we can supply the YJLV22 you're specifying for the construction job. Those are the copper-conductor, cross-linked polyethylene insulated ones with the grey PVC sheath we’ve been running a lot of for medium-voltage underground feeds recently—the 3-core variant handles the 8.7/15kV rating pretty well.

Everyone asks about lead time first, then the drum weight. We usually stick with the 1000-meter lengths on wooden reels with that waterproof liner, but if you need shorter pulls for the trench sections our company can cut it—just give us the lengths before we start processing. The MOQ is that one full drum (1000m) to get a standard COA with batch-specific DC resistance and insulation thickness data.

That red copper core has a tighter tolerance than some cheaper imported stuff—you’ll see it in the resistivity margins from the test data. What it does is hit the minimum cross-section every time without the random necking you sometimes get with alumnum conductor YJLV variants, so it’s better for the continuous ampacity you’d need at the power station end of your layout.

One thing we don’t do is make low-votage control cable from this same construction—the PVC sheath is too thick and the copper strands are too coarse for cabinet wiring. For the overhead spans and direct-bury sections you mentioned, this is basically fine, but if you’re also pulling into a substation panel let us know so we separate that part of the order.

So for the numbers: 1000 meters of 3-core YJLV22, AC medium voltage, ISO 9001 on file, packed in the wooden crate with internal waterproof barrier. We usually have stock avaliable in about 20 days or so from order confirmation, but confirm that with us when you send the PO because the 4-core runs are sometimes on a slightly longer schedule—roughly 28 days if we need to schedule the extrusion line.
They're certified ISO 9001, so quality management is covered. If you need specific test reports or compliance docs for your project, just ask.
Standard is 1000m per drum, but we can cut to your exact length if needed. Just let us know the total meters and we'll adjust the packaging.
Typically 2-3 weeks, depending on current production load. We'll confirm exact timing once you place the order.
Yes, the PVC sheath is formulated to handle UV exposure and underground conditions, so it's fine for both overhead and direct burial installs.
Minimum is 1000 meters total, not per type. So you could order 500m of 2-core and 500m of 3-core, for example, and that counts.
