A hotel project manager we supplied last month needed something that wouldn't kink when pulling through tight conduit runs—H05VV-F 3G1.5mm² sorted it out, and they've already reordered for phase two.
Stranded pure copper with 29 to 56 strands depending on the size you pick, PVC compound 3V-90 on both insulation and sheath, rated 300V/500V with a tempearture range of -20°C to +70°C, and core counts form 2 to 5 (usually 3-core is the most common ask). Insulation thickness runs 0.6 to 0.8 mm, and we've got CE, RoHS, and ISO9001 certs on file.
Basically, it's fine for residential kitchens, office lighting, and portable equiment—but don't use it for fixed wiring in damp zones unless you've checked local regs, because the PVC sheath isn't continuous water contact. Most buyers go with the 100m rolls for smaller jobs, but teh 500m drums are better value if you're doing a whole floor or so.
MOQ is 50 rolls or 5 drums, lead time typically 15-20 working days (check current stock on 4.0mm² 5-core as that one moves fast), and our company supply COA with every batch.
The strand count is set per size—29 strands for smaller sections up to 56 for larger ones, following BS EN60228. We don't change that, but we can adjust the cross-sectional area within 0.5-4.0 mm² if your order is 1000m or more.
For 1000m drums, our MOQ is 10 drums per size and core count. If you need less, we offer 50m, 100m, and 200m rolls with a minimum of 50 rolls.
Yes, every shipment includes a CE declaration of conformity and a RoHS test report. ISO9001 certificate is also available on request.
Standard lead time is 15-20 working days for this size. If you need faster, we can expedite to 10 working days for orders over 5000m.
We recommend indoor storage in a dry, shaded area between -10°C and +40°C. The PVC sheath can handle short-term outdoor exposure, but UV damage is possible if left uncovered for weeks.
