High-Quality Custom Wire Harness for Consumer Electronics - OEM/ODM Supplier

Basically we needed a custom harness for a portable diagnostic monitor run and the off-the-shelf options wouldn't fit the tight bend radius our company have inside the housing, so this order is for a specific JST-to-TE connector configuration with thin-wall PVC insulation that we've used before on similar builds without issue.

We're ordering the pure copper version with the 300V rating because that's more than enough for our low-voltage signal lines, and the -65°C to +105°C range on the PVC actually gives us a wider safety margin than we need for typical consumer electronics use—though if you were putting this in an automotive engine bay you'd want the PTFE insulation which goes up to +250°C.

The MOQ of 500 pieces is manageable for a proto run and the 5-15 day lead time is tight enough for our production schedule, but we usually have stock on the basic JST 2.0mm pitch connectors so that part should be fine—confirm lead time on the TE stuff though since those are custom-sourced.

Each harness gets a conduction and appearance inspection before shippng which is pretty standdard at this level, but what I like is they include a COA on request and UL certifcation on the cable means we don't have to re-certify the whole assembly for our CE mark appliction.

Most buyers go with black or white PVC for consumer electronics but we're going with a gray jacket this time to match the internal chassis color—it's a small detail but reduces assembly errors when the wiring matches the housing.

We've used this suppiler for about two years now and the consistency on the 24AWG pure copper strands is noticeably better than a couple of cheaper alternatives we tested, though the 500-piece MOQ means you can't just order 50 for a quick prototype run—that's what the bulk spools are for.
