Most buyers go with the brass body for corrosion resisance, and it's pretty much a standard fit for refrigeration lines or industrial sight glasses where you need to see flow or level clearly.
The round head design makes instalation straightforward, but keep in mind it's not ideal for every low-pressure setup — the flange connection is built for high-pressure environments, so a simple glass tube might be easier for gentle stuff.
Anyway, we usually have stock on the common standards like GB or BSW, give or take 100 units or so, but for custom logo imprinting or bulk synthesis of small vials, lead time can bump to 4 weeks (check the COA before ordering).
