We've been shipping these to e-bike assembly lines for a while now, and the bare copper core is what most buyers actually ask for first — it handles higher current loads better than tinned or alloy cores, which matters when you're pushing 1000V DC through the system, and the IP67 rating means it'll survive a splash or two without shorting.
The bulk pricing drops noticeably once you hit 500 units or so, and for custom color or size options, we usually keep the MOQ around 200 meters for wire harness assemblies, but if you're ordering injection-molded connectors too, our company can bundle that into a single order and save you on shipping.
Lead time is typically 3-4 weeks for standdard specs, but if you need CSA or VDE wire types, add another week for certifcation documentation — and the injection molding class assembly is what gives it that waterproff seal, so don't skip that spec if you're mounting it near the motor or battery compartment.
Most buyers don't think to ask about the operating tempearture range, but -40°C to 85°C is pretty much the standard for outdoor e-bikes — anything below that and PVC pipe bandaging gets brittle, so if you're shipping to cold climates, confirm your expected low temps with us before ordering.
The AC/DC interface type is actually just a standard round connector on our end, but we've had customers use it for both charging ports and motor controllers — just make sure to specify which votage rating you need (1000V or 1500V) because the insulation thickness changes slightly, and it affects the final outer diameter.
MOQ typically starts at 500 units for standard configurations, but we can negotiate lower for first-time orders. Lead time is around 15-20 working days after order confirmation, depending on the volume and customization level.
Yes, we include copies of RoHS, ISO9001, and TUV certificates with every bulk order. They're also available for download from our portal before shipment if you need them for compliance checks.
The harness is rated for DC 1000V and 1500V, so it works fine for either voltage. The bare copper core handles both efficiently, but make sure your connectors match the specified interface type.
We do offer custom colors on the PVC pipe bandaging—just send us your Pantone or RAL code. There's usually a small setup fee for custom colors, but it's waived for orders over 1000 units.
Each harness goes through electrical and functional tests plus dimensional inspection as standard. We provide a test report for every batch, covering continuity, insulation resistance, and IP67 seal check.
