It's not direct burial without additonal mechanical protection, so plan for conduit or cable tray if you're running it underground—but for control cabinets, relay panels, and signal loops inside industrial plants, it's a workhorse that doesn't need over-engineering.
We usually stock the solid conductor KVV for fixed installations and the stranded KVVR where you need a tighter bend radius—6 to 12 times the cable diameter, depending on whether it's shielded or armored, and most buyers go with the 0.45/0.75kV rating for 24V to 480V control circuits.
Oxygen-free copper keeps votage drop predictable over runs of 50 meters or so, and the PVC insulation holds up to 70°C continuous—though if you're pushing ambient temps above that, the XLPE option gives you 90°C and better dielectric strength for signal integrity.
Shielding is an option, not standard, so if you're running this near VFDs or high-current busbars, you'll want the foil or braid variant to keep noise out of your 4-20mA loops; armoring is also available but adds about 2 weeks to the 7-20 day lead time.
CE and CCC certifcation covers most industrial control system specs, but it's not UL listed—so if your buyer needs that, our company can't spin it as a direct replacement for North American tray cable, though the construction is similar.
200 meters per wooden drum is typical for the 4-core 2.5mm², but we can customize lengths and conductor sizes down to 0.5mm² or up to 10mm²—just confirm your MOQ if you need something outside standard stock.
